DOT. Contemporary Art Gallery has been active on the (Slovak) art scene since year 2015. The gallery was founded by a curator and aesthetician, Mgr. Zuzana Danková, who has 10 years of experience in the art market, many transactions and passion for art. Gallery staff consists of a team of professionals from the field of culture, art and sales.

Since its founding, the gallery has been systematically engaging in exhibiting and presenting of Slovak contemporary art, discovering and supporting the talented individuals of young artistic generation, organizing cultural events, providing sales of valuable pieces of art and professional advisory in the field of art investment.

Exhibition program
In our exhibition program we focus on presentation of established names of contemporary Slovak art scene as well as discovery and presentation of the most talented Slovak visual artists of young generation. We are convinced that the authors we have chosen will engage the attention of theorists, curators or collectors in the future with their prospectively developing art program. In our exhibition concepts, we focus on strong individualities and inspiring connections between authors, mainly in the field of contemporary painting.

Support and promotion of talented artists
The presentation of chosen perspective authors is also related to the support and promotion of their work which we accomplish through exhibitions in DOT. Contemporary Art Gallery, as well as by publishing catalogues, initiating theoretical reflection on their work in various publications. Last but not least we support their development by mediating sales of their artworks to private collectors or public collections or other natural or legal persons.

Sale of works of art
We guarantee our clients that they will obtain only the high-quality artworks that are being sold for the first time, with a possibility of their later effective evaluation, in which we also actively participate.

Professional art advisory free of charge
Whether our client is a passionate and experienced art collector or a person interested in their first art investment, everyone can use our professional art advisory in the field of buying and collecting contemporary art, completely free of charge.

Cultural events and educating the public
As well as the artist we cooperate with, we think of the visitors, collectors, art enthusiasts and others interested in contemporary art. In order to bring the art of the exhibited authors to public, and at the same time provide an insight into most current events on art scene, we regularly carry out public and private presentations, lectures, studio visits, meetings with artists and other accompanying activities to exhibitions.

„We love art and with personal enthusiasm and guarantee of professionalism we bring you only the best from contemporary Slovak fine art."
